A brand can take many forms, including a name, sign, symbol, color combination or slogan. For example, Coca Cola is the name of a brand make by a particular company. The word branding began simply as a way to tell one person's cattle from another by means of a hot iron stamp. The word brand has continued to evolve to encompass identity — it affects the personality of a product, company or service. It is defined by a perception, good or bad, that your customers or prospects have about you. In the automotive industry, the terms marque or make are often used to denote a brand of motor vehicle. A concept brand is a brand that is associated with an abstract concept, like breast cancer awareness or environmentalism, rather than a specific product, service, or business. Q. I heard that laptops that are under 15.6" tend to die out after a few months and also Dell, HP your more mainstream brands are not as good. I know from experience from computers i will never buy a Dell again. So any advice on a good brand of laptop that has a good webcam in it for under $400 ? I heard Toshiba brand is really good. Your first problem is you want to spend less than $400 on a laptop. You spend less than $400 on any new laptop and you are getting low quality components, end of story. You can get a good quality, long lasting BASIC laptop for between $400 to $500. If you're willing to do that, look at the Toshiba Satellite brand laptop. I run them at work and they are very reliable. Also, my last two laptops were Dells. They are still running perfectly because my dad now owns one and my buddies wife owns the other.
