Givat Massuah Information

Givat Massuah (Hebrew: גבעת משואה‎) (lit. "Beacon Hill") is a new neighborhood in the southwest outskirts of Jerusalem, Israel, overlooking Malha and Emek Lavan Valley. It has a population of 1,100 families.[1] Givat Massuah was established in 1996.

The Young Judaea youth hostel, Beit Yehuda, built on land purchased in 2002 by the Hadassah organization, is located in Givat Massuah. The hostel has 129 suites, a library, 10 classrooms, a synagogue and a 350-seat auditorium.[2]
